Game-changing technology will help the wellbeing of young people
We are delighted that, through partnership with First Central Insurance, we now have a new platform on which to securely store and manage information such as a young persons housing status, health statistics, child protection history and multi-agency support hub referrals. This will help us more effectively monitor the issues affecting the young people accessing our services.
Many of First Central Guernsey-grown software development team, including senior executives and the Discover Digital interns, have been involved in the project. It is an adaptation of First Centrals existing content management system but has been tailored to meet our specific needs.
Having this information available on one platform not only reduces the Youth Commission administration costs and time, it makes us more effective at supporting young people by making our service more streamlined and efficient.The legacy and impact of this system on our provision actually makes it even more valuable than the significant monetary contribution it represents.
