Young person helps Santa at Guernsey light switch on
Father Christmas will be coming to St Peter Port to turn on the Christmas lights tomorrow. How exciting!
Father Christmas will be very lucky to have a helping hand from a special young person that we have supported through our emotional health and wellbeing work. Riley, with the help of his sister, will be assisting Father Christmas to turn on the lights in town at 5pm.
We’re very grateful to Sure Guernsey for offering this special opportunity to one of our young people.
Father Christmas will arrive into the Harbour on Saturday 25th November on board the RNLI Lifeboat at 3.55pm. The parade will set off towards the Town Church Square at 4.10pm where the Christmas lights switch on will take place at 5.00pm.
Make sure you've got your letter to Father Christmas ready to give to him and his helpers during the Christmas parade - don't forget to write your address on the back so he can reply!
Riley is looking forward to welcoming Father Christmas to Guernsey and helping him with his very important job of switching on the Christmas lights.
