The Duke of Edinburgh's Award provides a challenging programme of activities for 14 – 25 year olds across three levels: Bronze, Silver and Gold.
Each award is split into 4 sections: including volunteering, physical skills and expeditions. Participants take part in weekly activities, for up to 12 months.
D of E aims to inspire, guide and support young people in their self-development and recognises their achievements: it is offered to all young people across the Bailiwick either directly through secondary school, through our “open groups” or through other organisations including the Army Cadets, Boys Brigade, Youth Justice Service and Les Nicolles Prison.

The Youth Forum is a group of young people from across the Bailiwick who represent the views of their peers and issues important to young people. The Youth Forum engages with business and community leaders, senior civil servants and politicians.
The Youth Forum’s primary focus is to provide a voice for young people within the community, and to ensure that young peoples’ voices are heard by those making strategies and decisions, including the 2016 States Election.
