About Us
Our Vision
Our vision is a Bailiwick where all young people reach their full potential. With the right support and opportunities we can help them to become the best that they can be and fulfil their potential as adults in the future.
Our aim is to ensure the highest quality provision for young people across our islands. We want to ensure that more young people have access to shape and engage with positive activities that support their personal and social development.
We act as un umbrella organisation for the youth sector generally, supporting mny other charities and groups working with children and young people in the Bailiwick. By affiliating many organisations under one entity we can ensure that there is a clear voice for the islands’ young people, and a clear voice for those groups working with young people.
Our Mission
Our mission is to provide safe, supportive environments where young people can experience new opportunities to overcome barriers, develop skills and build confidence.
We recognise the importance of the opinions of young people and have set up a Youth Forum to enable us to gather their feedback. This not only helps us to improve our services and meet future needs but also to influence wider social policies.
Through an innovative partnership with the Education department, we are contracted to deliver services throughout youth clubs, schools, bespoke settings and via outreach, mobile and street based work.
Our ethos is needs-driven so we aspire to provide gold standard services that make a differences to young people and their futures.
Our Values
Young people first: We believe young people are at the heart of everything we do.
Trust: We must be reliable and consistent to win the trust of young people and communities. We recognise that everything we do will shape perceptions.
Respect for others: We listen to, respect and value the needs of young people and their voices.
Empowering: We invest in young people so that they can grow into responsible, contributing and self-reliant members of society.
Partnership: We work together with communities, businesses, statutory services and the voluntary sector.
