#Diamond Challenge
This year marks the 60th Anniversary of the Duke of Edinburgh's Award! There has never been a better time to get involved.
It doesn't matter how old you are or whether you have taken any of the DofE Awards - you can still take part!
Click here to find out how you can sign up for the DofE Diamond Challenge ...
So you’ve had an amazing time achieving your Gold Award and now you're sad it’s all over? Wondering what to do with all the spare time on your hands? You know the adventure doesn’t have to stop here!
DofE programmes are run by Leaders, many of whom are volunteers. People who enjoy helping others achieve. Individuals who, in many cases, achieved Awards themselves – people like you!
So why not share your experience and enthusiasm with others? There are a variety of ways to get involved:
Life after DofE
Help us continue to inspire and motivate today’s young people in the Bailiwick and support the continued development of the Duke of Edinburgh Award within the Islands.
Become an Assessor
In the Expedition section, qualifying expeditions must be assessed by a competent adult who is approved by the Licensed Organisation and accredited by the DofE through the Expedition Assessor Accreditation Scheme..
Become a Leader
Our Leaders are responsible for a DofE group. You'll lead, guide, inspire and encourage young people, agree their programme choices and approve their progress and pictures in eDofE.
Become a Supervisor
Supervisors are people with a good understanding of a participant's chosen activity. You'll help them set their goals and regularly meet with the young person to check on their progress, address any potential issues and adjust goals..
Become a Volunteer
Adults who can spare some time to help our DofE Leaders run a group can be a volunteer. You may give general support, i.e. admin, help run one section or give specific training.

Launch of the DofE Bailiwick of Guernsey Alumni!
We are delighted to announce the launch of our alumni network. We want to ensure that every young person from every background is able to take part in the Duke of Edinburgh Award and succeed regardless of any financial barriers. We hope that our alumni network will help us continue to inspire and motivate today’s young people in the Bailiwick and support the continued development of the Duke of Edinburgh Award within the Islands.
There are lots of reasons to get in touch and join our alumni, including:
Join the 60th Birthday Celebrations
We will be holding events in Guernsey throughout the year to help celebrate, get in touch and we will make sure you are kept up to date. You could also take part in the DofE Diamond Challenge & celebrate 60 years of DofE:
Money raised will support young people through their DofE Award.
Keep in touch
Keep in touch and support fellow award holders from the Bailiwick.s..
Share Your Success Story
This is your chance to inspire other young people. Tell us what you are doing now and how the DofE helped you get there.
Donate to Friends of DofE
Donations to the Friends of DofE helps us achieve our goal, of every young person being able to achieve the DofE Award, regardless of financial barriers. Every £1 helps another young person to start their DofE. Those young people who are especially disadvantaged get the most out of the programme!
Organise or help promote Frundraising Events!
Help us with ideas to promote the DofE Award in the Bailiwick, this can be anything from buying a ticket to an event to donating a raffle prize to speaking to a group of young people!
Volunteering
Would you like to use all that knowledge you gained to help other young people on their programme. We are always looking for new group leaders!
